Embracing My Cellulite

Over the weekend, I attended a concert with one of my friends that I've known since middle school.  We live in the same town but had not seen each other for over a month!  Needless to say, I was excited to catch up with her.  It was a normal North Carolina summer day with temperatures in the 90's so I decided to rock the jean shorts.  Before the concert, we had our picture taken (obvi) and as I was scrolling through, I immediately noticed the cellulite on the front of my legs.

Enjoy Your Holidays

It is the day before I fly home for the holidays and I'm feeling super excited!  I love this time of year and can't wait to enjoy much needed family and friend time over the next week.  Back when I was struggling with dieting and body image issues, I did not look forward to this time of year because it meant lots of gatherings centered around food.  When food was in complete control of my life, the holidays brought up so many triggers.
