Trusting Ourselves

For the past week, I’ve been learning to fully trust my intuition despite the fact that it was telling me to do something I really did not want to do. As someone who tries her hardest to listen to her intuition over her mind, I had to follow the path that it was pointing me towards and make some changes. This change has forced me to leave my comfort zone and embrace the unknown.

I’ve been talking about intuitive eating for a long time on my Instagram and I think the biggest lesson is learning how to trust. Instead of trusting that a diet plan is going to work, people need to learn how to trust their own bodies again. I believe people struggle with letting go of diets often because it is easier to follow a plan laid out in front of you, telling you what and how much to eat at every meal.

Following a plan is not always the best option. Learning to trust your own body (and intuition for that matter) is the best way to thrive in your life.

What are some ways you can start trusting your intuition and body again? Maybe your gut is telling you to make a choice you are scared to make but deep down, you know that it’s what you have to do to stay true to yourself. Maybe you are afraid to give up dieting because you do not know how to listen to your own body and make food choices based on what it is telling you.

If you want to learn how to trust your own body again, I invite you to sign up for my webinar that is happening on Wednesday, February 20th. Click here for more information and to sign up!
