Hello, lovely. It's a new week! It's time to stay motivated and start the week on a positive note.
I don't know about you, but I felt slightly overwhelmed the past two weeks. My schedule was complete craziness and I had zero motivation to get anything done. I knew my lack of motivation stemmed from being too busy so I decided to take a step back and reevaluate my priorities.
When I took a step back and reflected on my priorities versus my actions, I realized that I needed to carve out more time for what truly matters to me. I had to learn how to say "no" to avoid being overcommitted and also how to make self-care number one on my to-do list.
I cannot emphasize enough the importance of self-care. Self-care can be anything from reading to meditating to journaling to simply getting more sleep. When we make self-care our number one priority, we develop more self-awareness. When we have more self-awareness, we are able to make decisions that are aligned with who we truly are.
What are your priorities this week? Are you making time for what truly matters to you? Take time this morning or afternoon to reevaluate your priorities and your actions. What can you remove from your schedule in order to reach goals and where are you making time for self-care?
I hope your schedule this week includes activities that matter to you and tasks that bring you closer to your goals. Make time for self-care every single day. If you are still feeling overwhelmed, take a step back and reflect on your priorities versus your actions.
With love and peace,
